Showcase Review

1. For me showcase was super informative. I learned a lot from the college workshops that I went to and had so much fun in the musical theater workshops, especially the Tulsa one.

2. My best moment was in one of the workshops I got to work on a scene from Anne Frank and it was really fun to do that, I think it was the workshop with the stuff we do in class sometimes.

3. I am not sure I would do anything differently, I had a lot of fun just doing what I did and I am super excited for next year!

Ballet

OMG Ballet is actually so much more fun than I was expecting! I came to class thinking it was going to be horrible but it is such a good work out and I am so much better at it than I was expecting to be. I think learning it will be very useful because it gives great basic techniques for all dancing and a lot of shows have ballet in them. I think the ballet experience will really help me improve as a performer.

Arts in the Park Pictures

I honestly had so much fun preparing for the arts in the park performance. There were so many people who really looked like they were having fun also I got so many compliments on our performance. The rehearsal process was overall really fun but there were some tough parts, like how our dance kept changing for Magic to Do. I learned a lot about musical dancing and I think i did improve since I started.

Blog DAR #A2

-We are currently working on the pieces for Arts in the Park. We are doing both dancing and singing.

-i have had a great time with all the singing and the different twists we put on the songs with acting and some of the dances. However I do have a lot of trouble with the dancing sections and on certain parts of Run Freedom Run vocals.

-I'm really enjoying the class so far and can't wait for the next song that  we learn, I'm especially thrilled that I got a solo in Transylvania Mania!

2. He feels very good about himself he knows he is attractive, he has never had any issues getting a girl and never had any financial issues.

3. Something along the lines of he is cool and attractive and talented but has a big ego, he is sort of a celebrity.

4. He is pretty open minded and does not particularly hate anyone and likes Glenda and Elpheba.

5. Most characters like him he starts out dating Glenda but Elpheba ends up with him and they run off at the end of the show.

6. He finds himself in a situation where he must choose between siding with the masses or the witch Elpheba who has a good cause but goes about it rather violently. His actions get him sentenced to execution but he is turned into a scarecrow to keep him alive.

7. He has bravery and does the right thing in his situation even though it gets him seriously hurt. However it all works out for him in the end and his right choice made a big different.
